For some, it’s difficult to admit to themselves that they are suffering from anxiety or depression, let alone tell a close friend or loved one. Saying the words out loud can prove to be a terrifying feat and that action alone can make the diagnosis feel that much more real, when the person affected may actually want to try to hide or forget about the illness.
